Entry rules and visa

The passport must be valid for the entire duration of your stay in the Dominican Republic.

Citizens of Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine can enter the Dominican Republic without a visa. Citizens of other CIS countries holding a valid visa of the United States, Canada, Great Britain or the European Union (Schengen) can also enter the Dominican Republic without a visa for up to 30 days. If necessary, you can apply for a tourist visa to enter the country at the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in Moscow or Ankara.

All visitors, upon arrival at the airport before passport control, should purchase a tourist card worth US $10 or €10, which is valid for 30 days of your stay on the island. A tourist card can also be purchased before the trip either through a tour operator or by contacting the Consulate of the Dominican Republic. In addition, the card can be purchased on the Dirección General de Impuestos Internos website by paying for the purchase with a credit card.
